Welcome and farewell

Trademark of Orlando is the variety in instrumentation, such as in this concert: three different duos will perform (plus another surprise). Normally spoken one hears these pieces only when attending three different recitals, and now all on one afternoon. Also this concert leads you to (at least) four different styles and countries.

From central composer Hans Kox a short piece is with a puzzling title will be played. Will the musicians be able to clarify what it is all about? And will you hear ‘reflection’ as composed by Oliver Knussen? Curiosity and a sympathetic ear will help the listener ….
