As an amateur musician you can join the Orlando Festival with your own ensemble. The Orlando Festival offers a special music vacation on a beautiful location in the South of the Netherlands. In historical Rolduc Abbey you will receive lessons, have access to a rehearsal space, listen to concerts, visit lectures and enjoy a lot of chamber music!
You are also welcome as an individual musician at Rolduc in order to actively join he Orlando Festival. Enrolment is open to amateur musicians of all ages, and all levels of proficiency are welcome.
Music lovers can indulge in a choice of more than 40 concerts and events at the Orlando Festival (13 - 23 August 2020). The special atmosphere, the beautiful location (a pleasant hotel in a historic abbey) and the beautiful surroundings of South Limburg make a visit to the Orlando Festival a wonderful experience. Visit Rolduc for one day or book up to ten days at the festival.
The Orlando Master Class is a chamber music course for young professional chamber music ensembles. Ensembles in all shapes and seizes will receive an intense course during 10 days, consisting of chamber music lessons as well as coaching sessions regarding communication, posture and overcoming stage fright. In addition, the ensembles perform at various venues at the Orlando Festival.
Vocalists are very welcome at the Orlando Festival! Orlando offers education of all sorts for amateurs of all ages, music students and young professional singers (in the Master class).
